The Rainbow Room, the historic New York City landmark and iconic restaurant and event space atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Rockefeller Center, will reopen to the public in the fall of 2014, it was announced today. Rockefeller Center is the world-famous real estate, shopping and dining complex in the heart of midtown Manhattan.

Peddlers, the act of taking your wares onto the streets as a travelling vendor.  Peddler becuase those of past generation actually peddled goods on bikes. This is nothing new. My grandparents and great grand parents immigrated to America and had to do just that selling items like furniture, supplies, clothing. Clothing??

Fast forward to current day America and the Mobile Food Truck rage. Some trucks cart well-seasoned and accomplished chefs from all over the world.

I had the most delightful Summer al fresco experience at Waterstone Bar & Grille. Owner  Lisa ' Waterstone' was on hand, as she always is at this neighborhood jewel, to greet, oversee and share in the lovely evening. Suggesting we sit outside, we first chose a bottle of chilled wine, Mt Eden Chardonnay 2009, from the newly opened Waterstone Cafe.
