White Marsh Mall will sponsor a “Sensory Friendly” Easter event on Sunday, April 1. Children will have the opportunity to visit with the Easter Bunny in a calm, sensory-friendly environment before the mall is open to the public. Dim lighting and no amplified music will create a subdued atmosphere in which to enjoy this spring tradition. Additionally, the green screen will be available for festive photo options with or without the bunny.
Representatives from Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism and Related Disorders will be available to provide information about services, research studies and resources for families of children with autism spectrum disorders.
The event will feature:
• No loud crowds.
• No lines.
• No strong odors.
• Experienced, trained staff for special needs.
To ensure a sensory friendly atmosphere, this event is limited to 50 families. An R.S.V.P. is required for this event. To attend, please contact White Marsh Mall at whitemarshadmin@ggp.com. For more information, please visit www.whitemarshmall.com
